Game Designer
We want a Roblox-native designer who understands how to turn a
game idea into a sequence of moments players obsess over.
This is not a scripting-first role. We are looking for a
designer with strong taste: story design, tycoon instincts,
trend awareness, and a deep feel for what Roblox players want
right now.
What you would own:
Story Design That Pulls People Forward
You know how to build anticipation, escalation, reveal, and
payoff. You think in episodes, arcs, cliffhangers, and
surprise moments, not just feature lists. We want games that
feel like an ongoing series players want to keep returning to.
Tycoon Loops With Real Retention
You understand the psychology of progression, reward pacing,
upgrades, resets, and “one more run” loops. You can spot what
makes tycoon-style systems sticky on Roblox and shape them so
they stay readable, satisfying, and trend-aware.
Roblox-Native Trend Radar
You actively track what is working on the platform right now:
themes, mechanics, hooks, aesthetics, humor, social patterns,
and monetization moods. You do not design in a vacuum. You
design with sharp awareness of where Roblox culture is moving.
Lifelong Platform Intuition
You have played Roblox for years and it shows in your taste.
You understand the difference between what sounds good in a
pitch and what actually feels native to Roblox players once it
is live.
Clear Creative Direction
You can translate a high-level concept into beats, systems,
references, mood, progression goals, and player-facing
outcomes that artists and developers can execute against
without guesswork.
If you naturally think about Roblox games as living shows with
evolving arcs, strong hooks, and trend-native pacing, this role
is for you.
